The Oregon Health Authority on Sunday announced a near-record 1,599 new positive or presumed positive coronavirus cases as the states caseload remained high despite Gov. Kate Browns ongoing freeze.
The authority announced nine deaths, increasing Oregons death toll to 905 since the pandemic began in March. And the agency said that hospitalizations were continuing their record-setting rise, with 539 people hospitalized with COVID-19, an increase of 10 people from a day earlier. Statewide, 107 people…
